42nd Street!
Ashton is feeling “Young and Healthy” because he is playing Billy Lawlor in 42nd Street at the Palace Theatre in Manchester, New Hampshire! He is thrilled to be playing this dream role!
“Come and meet those dancing feet” from May 31st through June 23rd!
Farewell: West Side Story!
Over the past year and half Ashton has traveled to 28 cities in 10 different countries performing in West Side Story as Big Deal / Understudy Action. He traveled over 69,000km and performed in over 350 shows reaching nearly half a million people.
As the tour comes to a close Ashton is moving to NYC to continue to perform!
International Tour: West Side Story
At the end of October, Ashton will be flying to Germany to begin rehearsals for the International Tour of West Side Story! He couldn’t be more excited to be traveling the world with one of my all time favorite shows!
He will be playing “Big Deal,” and he will also be an onstage swing.
He will be working with the incredible Lonny Price, Julio Monge, and Grant Sturiale! The tour will be traveling to Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria, Japan, India, Ireland and more!

La Cage Aux Folles
It’s time to bring out the heels… After this leg of the Tootsie tour ends, Ashton will be joining the cast of La Cage Aux Folles at the Little Theatre on the Square as a Cagelle and Dance Captain. The show runs from August 4-14th in Sullivan, Illinois (between Chicago and St. Louis).
So grab your heels and makeup, and meet Ashton in Illinois. It surely won’t be a drag…
Tootsie : Swing Update!
As of March 17, 2022, as Tootsie passes its 150th performance, Ashton has officially performed in 82 of the 150 shows (≈55%). He’s performed in all 6 male ensemble tracks and 4 of the 6 female tracks!
Tootsie!
Ashton is currently on the road with the first national tour of Tootsie the Musical! Ashton is singing, dancing, and acting across the country as a Swing (covering 12 roles) and Assistant Dance Captain! Catch him in a city near you!
The Tempest
Ashton recently had the honor of assistant choreographing Otterbein University’s mainstage production of The Tempest. He worked hand and hand with the composer (Stephen Blauch), director (Mark Mineart), and choreographer (Rachel Fish) of the show to make sure the movement qualities and the dances were best suited for the show. The show was filmed completely socially distanced, and all of the rehearsals were done following CDC guidelines.
Antigone
Ashton recently had the opportunity to play Kreon in a full staged reading of Antigone. Directed by Lenny Leibowitz, the show was fully staged, but it was done with minimal props / set pieces and no costumes.
Rehearsals and performances followed strict CDC guidelines. All actors were masked and staging was adjusted for social distancing.
Into a Lamplit Room
Ashton recently finished filming Into A Lamplit Room. Even if you missed the streaming you can still enjoy the trailer. Ashton was lucky enough to play Man 3 and to dance captain for this wonderful, safe, socially distanced show.
Mall, Actually…
Ashton recently had the opportunity play Carter Binks in a wonderful, new, holiday short film called Mall, Actually. Written/Directed by Maggie Ek and starring Maggie Ek, Ashton Lambert, Kevin Buckley, Payton Tevis, Kenneth Remaklus, and Noah Bender. If you're looking for fun, laughs, and holiday cheer, this film has it all!
Middle of a Moment

Unity Film Project
Ashton had the honor of doing a short dance film in Houston, Texas this summer, and it was just recently released. Check out this beautiful piece about working together, brotherhood, and finding light in a world so full of darkness. The dance was choreographed by the fantastic Melody Johnson of ReFine Arts Productions.

BroadwayWorld Next on Stage Dance Competition: Second Runner Up!
Ashton was recently named the BroadwayWorld Next on Stage Dance Competition’s second runner up! Thank you to everyone who voted. Creating new dances each week was such a fun challenge, and he’s so thankful for everyone who went on the journey with him. He couldn’t have done it without everyone’s support!

Thanks to everyone’s continual support Ashton is thrilled to be in the top 3 and the finals of the BroadwayWorld Next on Stage Dance Competition! This weeks challenge was dance to a song performed by an iconic leading lady. Watch Ashton channel is inner Sutton Foster in his version of “Anything Goes” (choreographed and danced by Ashton Lambert)! Please take 2 minutes out of you day to vote and share one last time. “Beyond the Sea”
Ashton’s most recent project was a collaboration with Maggie Ek (www.maggieek.com). The two co-choreographed and danced to Matt Belsante’s cover of “Beyond the Sea.”

During quarantine what else is there to do but dance! Ashton recently choreographed and danced to Matthew Morrison’s cover of “On the Street Where You Live.”
And yes, he did wash his hands after holding onto that stop sign…

DASH For The Actors Fund
Recently Duncan and I (DASH = Duncan + Ashton) were challenged and inspired by a friend of theirs to stop playing video games for a day and walk as far as they could in a 24-hour period. They thought they could put their efforts to good use by creating a fundraiser to support The Actors Fund in giving relief to the many actors who have found themselves out of work due to Covid-19.
The mission of The Actors Fund is to “foster stability and resiliency, and provide a safety net for performing arts and entertainment professionals over their lifespan.”
Through their walkathon on April 15th, they raised over 1,500 dollars. Thank you to everyone who donated!
The School For Scandal
Recently, Ashton finished performing as Joseph Surface in Otterbein Theatre and Dance’s production of The School For Scandal. The Columbus Dispatch called him “amusing as a conniver caught in his own traps…handl[ing] the demanding dialogue with both clarity and flair.”
Carry On (An Original Dance Concert)
Recently, Ashton had the opportunity to play a principal dancer and serve as an assistant choreographer for a new original dance concert, Carry On. Created, directed, and choreographed by Bradford Chaklos and Daniel Kunkel, Carry On is a reimagining of the myth of Tristan and Iseult. Ashton was honored to create the role of Tristan in this new work with Eleventh Hour Theatre Company.
Dance Concert: Together Again!
Ashton recently finished performing in Otterbein’s mainstage dance concert: Together Again! The dance concert rehearsed for almost two months and was an ode to the amazing choreographers at Otterbein University. Every piece was a revamped recreation of the choreographers’ favorite pieces of the past.
